Now that I am semi-retired, the main focus of my work attention is hypnotherapy where I combine hypnosis and therapy/coaching, a combination that is more powerful than anything else of which I am aware.
Susan ( Susie or Suz to her family, friends and colleagues) is the President and Founder of the Creative Communications Center. Running her own international business since 1981, Susan leads corporations, businesses, schools, and other organizations through growth and transformation in the following related areas: Communications, Team Building, Visionary Planning and Visionary Leadership, Customer Relations, Facilitation, Attitude Changes, Personal and Professional Mastery. She is certified to conduct training programs in several disciplines and was an American Management Association seminar leader for 17 years.
Susan was an Executive Coach for Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth. She works with senior executives to examine their vision, their current reality and plan how to close the gap. Suz is known to have caring empathy, to understand where her clients are coming from and, from there, to take them forward to uncharted territory in a safe, supportive way.
Her other coaching experience ranges from her Olympian Program where people come and spend a day with her followed by a year of follow-up, to the more traditional coaching of three-six month programs. She has created The Essentials of Coaching: A Practical Guide to Help Others Create Their Potential which she uses for her own clients as well as making them available for other coaches, leaders and managers. In addition, she has created The Leadership Institute: Turning Leaders Into Visionaries and Managers into Leaders, a two to four day offsite workshop that has been received with enthusiasm due to the lasting results.
Currently, Susie teaches a Holistic Coach Certification program, The Coaching Institute: the Art & Skills to Become a World Class Coach, a 7 month program which has resulted in many excellent coaches.
Susan performs needs assessments, designing and implementing solution strategies, generating state-of the-art personalized reports including Behaviors and Values, 360 Feedback, Organizational Climate and others. The unique blend of Susan's consulting, teaching, facilitation and coaching skills enables her to identify problems, assess needs, provide initial and ongoing involvement, and provide dramatic and lasting change in people's personal and professional lives, as well as guiding organizations into more effective and productive working environments.
Suz has written Walking the Spiritual Path With Practical Feet: Ten Visionaries Who Make a Difference, an anthology of outstanding people who have made a significant difference in her life. One of the authors is Marshall Goldsmith, who is a significant contributor to the Tuck Executive Education program, and who suggested that she write this book.
Suz is a Certified Intuitive Healing Coach from Stillpoint School of Integrative Life Healing, working with body, mind and spirit and is a Master Teacher of one of the Intensives, Living Your Purpose – On Purpose which she teaches in her home as well as to other locations by invitation.
In addition, Susie started teaching Parent Effectiveness Training after a twenty year break due to her travel schedule. She also volunteers these skills to people and organizations who need them but can't afford them and has added Effective Parenting to her coaching programs as well. Suz was a counselor at the Hanover, NH Middle School which prompted her to teach Teacher Effectiveness Training for the national organization of Effectiveness Training as well as many other courses for teachers and administrators. This ultimately led to corporate work and Leader Effectiveness Training, all of the above the development of Dr. Thomas Gordon.
Susan was Phi Beta Kappa at the University of New Hampshire and earned a Master's degree in Wholistic Counseling and Communications from Goddard College/Norwich University. She is a certified RealTime Coach, a member of Coach University, certified DISC Behavior and Values analyst and certified in Visionary Leadership, Reality Therapy, Neurolinguistic Programming and Effectiveness Training.
Susie is also a certified Hypnotherapist from the National Guild of Hypnotists. In that arena, she helps people with weight loss, smoking cessation, anxiety, depression, age and past life regression, soul coaching and many other issues.

Suz's personal interests include spending time with her family above all else – three sons and five grandchildren ranging from elementary school to college graduates. They are what keep her rooted to Vermont. In addition, her love of animals prompted her to take Reiki Level 1 and Level 2 and Animal Communication classes to better understand and show her love for them when she volunteers at the Upper Valley Humane Society. She has two pets of her own – a try-to-be-white Therapy Maltese dog, Bella, and one Warrior cat, Spirit from the Humane Society – who show her every day how they are Walking the Spiritual Path With Practical Feet.
