Alex is president and founder of Growth Curve Associates. He is a consultant partnering with individuals and organizations to create breakthrough results in leadership effectiveness through improved teamwork, innovation, creative problem solving, change management and workplace spirit.
In addition to corporate consulting, Alex guides wilderness leadership and team building programs in locations around the world, specializing in guided retreats in the Himalayas. Alex has served for 11 years as a faculty member at the Creative Problem Solving Institute in Buffalo, New York and is a facilitator of the Leadership Institute in Norwich, Vermont. He is a certified coach and facilitator of various leadership assessment tools.
Alex’s earlier professional experience includes leading youth wilderness team-building programs for the Hulbert Outdoor Center in Fairlee, Vermont. For 10 years Alex was also president of Archisun Associates, a Durango, Colorado based design-build firm specializing in innovative and environmental housing solutions. He holds a degree in Sustainable Design from the University of Vermont.
Alex utilizes the best of conventional and non-conventional approaches, along with his love of design to create customized learning solutions that produce on-target results. Alex has worked with a range of clients in business, education, government, human service and non-profit organizations including Basketball Hall of Fame, Fannie Mae, Fidelity Investments, New Hampshire Community Loan Fund, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Sloan Research and Consulting, Tradex-Converting AB, and Tri-Lakes Partnership.
Alex lives in Thetford, Vermont where he enjoys spending time in the mountains and with his family.
